A cup, built with the spiral technique rather than carved.

14 × 7 cm · Holds 300 ml (~10 oz)

About

The only piece in this collection not carved with the loop tool. Built with the spiral technique: thrown as a tall, narrow cylinder, then stretched fast from the inside with one hand against the clay's resistance. That pulling motion alone creates the rough, cratered texture on the outside, no tool involved. A pale blue glaze pools inside; the exterior stays matte and textured.
