FAQ
Do you have a physical store?
No. The work is sold online and at fairs. Follow @kutega_craft on Instagram for upcoming events.
Where are you based?
I'm based in Singapore and my general pottery practice is here. I sometimes participate in international workshops (Japan, Indonesia - Jakarta and Bali). In such cases, I made my pieces overseas and bring them to Singapore by air.
Do you ship overseas?
Not at the moment. I ship within Singapore only. If you're based elsewhere and something catches your eye, feel free to reach out, I may be able to arrange something.
How do I know the price and purchase the work?
To enquire about the price, please send me a message via the Contact form on the main page, or drop me an email: kutega.art@gmail.com
How do I know if the artwork is still available?
Unavailable items are marked as Not Available on the product details page. Available products have a button "Enquire about this piece" which will lead you to the Contact form.
Is it food safe?
Yes. All clay used is food safe. All glazes used are food safe. For the woodfired pieces: the kiln was fed continuously for two days, reaching over 1250°C. At that temperature, the clay body vitrifies fully and is considered food safe.
Can I return or exchange a piece?
All sales are final. Each piece is one of a kind and made by hand. I don't accept returns or exchanges, but if something arrives damaged, contact me within 48 hours with photos and I'll make it right.
The piece looks slightly different from the photo. Is that normal?
Yes. Handmade ceramics will always vary slightly in colour, texture, and surface detail. No two pieces are identical, and that's not a defect, it's the nature of the work. Photos are taken to show the piece as accurately as possible, but a screen can't fully capture the feel of something you hold in your hands.
How do I care for my piece?
Handwashing is always the preferred way. Wash them as usual with soap and a soft sponge.
Can I commission a piece?
Please message me with what you have in mind on Instagram @kutega_craft , or email kutega.art@gmail.com or via the Contact form on the main page.
How else can I support you?
If you'd like to support my pottery practice, a coffee here helps fund clay, firings, studio time, and the occasional journey to a distant kiln. Thank you!
